Prospective candidates should have a good first degree, preferably in the humanities, social sciences and related disciplines.

The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the University, responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administrative work of the University, except as regards matters for which the Bursar is responsible. Importantly, the Registrar is also Secretary to Council, Senate, Congregation and Convocation.

The Role:

Ensure WPS’s have been approved and are available to welders)
Check that welding equipment is in suitable condition and calibrated as appropriate Check the welding jobs preparation such as fit ups are in accordance with WPS and drawing
Check the validity of welders and their identification that qualified for each WPS and drawing
Check that welding consumable to be stored and controlled as specified by the QC procedures
The Person:
Applicants must be a degree holder in Mechanical Engineering or other related discipline with at least five (5) years experience in the Oil and gas sector
