Qualification
Candidate must possess Bachelor of Science in Insurance. Actuarial Science or underwriting or any other good first degree not lower than second class.
An MBA from reputable institution would be and added advantage
Associate/Fellow Membership of the chartered institute of insurance will be a strong advantage.
Summary
Reporting to the MD/CEO. The role of the Head, Oil and Gas Insurance is to ensure profitable operations and aggressive growth in the market share for the business unit. He/she
Shall be responsible for developing a strong oil and gas business unit
Shall be responsible for crafting appropriate products for the sector
Shall be responsible for establishing operational procedures and strong links locally and internationally within the sector.
Shall remain abreast of public events that affect the company’s market share of the sector business
Shall ensure strong market penetration to achieve 30 40% market share within three years
Shall be responsible for providing the CEO with all relevant information and recommendations needed to make informed policy decisions
Shall be responsible for recruiting, directing and developing highly driven personnel for this choice sector.
The Person
Not less than 35 years of age and must be in good health .the head, oil and gas will be coming at general management level (AGM, DGM or GM grade) and must have a minimum of 8 years of hands on experience in underwriting, marketing and proven performance in oil and gas insurance business.

(1) POSITION: BRANCH MANAGERS (BOM 10) (PH & Warri)
Job Specification & Experience
- Build and maintain effective professional relationships with intermediaries, usually insurance
brokers or financial advisers.
- Identify and develop new business in line with branch objectives and set targets.
- General management of the office including budget management and report writing.
- Minimum of 8 years industry or relevant experience.
- Marketing experience in the eastern part of the country required.
Person Specifications:

(2) POSITION: ACCOUNTANTS (ACC10)
Job Specification & Experience:
- Compile budgetary recommendations from each department and prepare an operational
budget.
- Monitor, verify and reconcile expenditure of budgeted funds.
- Develop complex financial reports for forecasting, trending and results analysis.
- Review invoices and statements and approve payments.
- Supervise maintenance of conduct checks on accounting records and documents to ensure
accuracy and adequacy of information.
- Make recommendations for improving services and reducing cost.
- Minimum of 7 years experience.
