Position
: Drilling Engineer
Job Description:
Monitor rig operations to ensure that all safety requirements are met and that the rig is in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Ensure high standards are met and maintained, quarterly safety audits of each rig will be conducted in conjunction with the other Rig Managers.
Contact clients and develop communications.
Ensure that all rig personnel are adequately trained and the rig is equipped to provide the customer with a safe, efficient means of accomplishing workover, or completion program by ensuring that critical inventories are checked and maintained.
Maintain frequent personal contact with the customer’s drilling manager to develop a positive working relationship and to coordinate rig operations to ensure that all objectives are met, deficiencies and corrective actions taken.
Prepare and review for accuracy customer’s billing for day rate, third party catering, and reimbursable materials
Monitor to ensure payment is received in accordance with the terms of the contract.
Monitor and maintain control over all yearly rig bonus criteria to ensure that planned objectives are met.
Monitor all daily rig cost and follow up on all parts and equipments sent in for repairs
Occasionally visits to the repair shop for verification and approval of all work to be performed. Any equipment that is stored on a long term basis will also be checked on a periodic basis for condition and proper care.
Coordinate with the Materials Control Department for targeted movement of materials and supplies to and from the rig.
Coordinate all customer requirements with the rig, engineering, third party, and applicable regulatory agencies
Provide input to senior Management for the development and refinement of operating procedures and budgets
Ensure all rig site task-specific procedures have been risk assessed and rig site QA/QC plan requirements are addressed
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Drilling Engineer
Drilling Rig Experience
Required Skills:
Mastery in the use of Wellview Drilling Application and database application.
Drilling Operations reports data analytical skills.

ROTATING EQUIPMENT ENGINEER,PIPELINE ENGINEERS,MAINTENANCE/INTEGRITY ENGINEERS VACANCIES AT ASPEN ENERGY

Our client, a medium size oil and gas producing company operating in the Niger Delta with its head office in Lagos is currently in need of experienced and motivated candidates to fill the positions below:
(1)Position: Rotating Equipment Engineer (RE/SP/005)
Responsibilities:
-Verifies all rotating equipment-related work products (including Design Basis. Specifications,
-Analyses, Detail Design and drafting) produced by the FEED and Detail Design contractor.
-Responsible for verifying that the work product conforms to the Project’s requirements and meets design performance, safety and quality standards and complies with all regulatory requirements.
-Monitors the FEED and Detail Design contractor’s performance, progress and schedule
Ensures that design of rotating equipment, their auxiliaries and the related process systems meet safety, operability, maintainability & reliability requirements.
-Participates in/advises HSE and reliability activities including HAZOP reviews, Safety Integrated Level reviews, Human Factors Engineering, review of environmental impact, and etc
Interfaces with other discipline and project engineers in order to coordinate work and ensure clash-free design with regards to controls and fragmentation, electrical, piping, structural, and etc.
Requirements:
-Possesses a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 10 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, including specification, selection, application, design, testing, installation and commissioning of all types of rotating machinery.
-Experience in the preparation of tender documents/equipment specifications, bid evaluations and award recommendations.
-Able to liaise with tenders and supplier on technical clarifications, attendance of clarification, pre-award and kick-off meetings, facilities Acceptance Tests and problem/conflict resolution meetings
-Has a sound background in process design & Engineering, with a good understanding of the requirements & characteristics of all process systems in which rotating equipment operates.
(2)Position: Pipeline Engineers (PE/SP/006)
Successful candidates will be responsible for managing the technical integrity of considerable length pipelines. This will involve:
-Providing maintenance and inspection plans to assure the technical integrity of the pipelines within defined scope and budget, focused on realizing asset specific HSE, integrity, costs and availability performance.
-Developing and implementing best practice inspection, monitoring and emergency response systems.
-Advising on matters of specification, design, selection, procurement, application and maintenance and identifying/recognizing potential hazards in own discipline and proposing/implementing solutions to eliminate/minimize risks,
Supervising pipeline engineering activities in the field when being executed by third parties, when required,
-Managing engineering modifications to the pipeline system.
Requirements:
-Candidates must possess a good University Degree in Engineering, A Master’s in Engineering will be an added advantage
-Minimum of 10 years in the oil and gas industry
-Significant experience in pipeline engineering and/or pipeline integrity management and execution.
-Sound knowledge of all procedures, standards and laws applicable to engineering, construction and maintenance of pipelines,
-Relevant experience in the following disciplines: Topographical, Legal, Corrosion, Inspection and Operations.
-Highly effective team building and communication skills,
-Strong cross-discipline approach by which all parties are supported and driven to work together seamlessly to deliver optimal solutions.
(3)Position: Maintenance/Integrity Engineers (ME/SP/007)
Responsibilities
-Responsible to lead and provide Operations and Maintenance input particularly in the area of equipment Life-cycle Cost, review of design documentation, Technical Integrity and Lessons Learnt/Best Practices
-Contribute to invitation to tender in terms of technical specifications and maintenance requirement.
-Coordinate the operational interfaces/integration through all project phases (design, construction, commissioning, start up and operations)
-Contribute to the development of the Operations Manual in line with the Project OR&A Plan
-Participate in HAZID and HAZOP reviews
S-upport Commissioning and start-up activities, and develop cost effective maintenance strategies.
-Ensure all operation excellence minimum requirements are embedded into maintenance strategy and plan.
Requirement
-Candidate must possess an Engineering/Technical Degree, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in maintenance Engineering with involvement in at least one major project
-Has extensive hands-on experience on Operation & Maintenance of facilities within the oil and Gas industry.
-Has a high degree of fluency in both spoken & written English, and is able to report well both verbally and in writing
-Possess sound knowledge of Technical integrity Management Systems, CMMS Systems, EDMS Systems; Engineering , Construction and commissioning processes; Maintenance strategies, Procedures, Practices and Equipment Root-cause Analysis Techniques
-The incumbent is confident to apply a hand-on approach to Risk-Reliability Maintenance (e.g RRM, RCM)

Ensure WPS’s have been approved and are available to welders)
Check that welding equipment is in suitable condition and calibrated as appropriate Check the welding jobs preparation such as fit ups are in accordance with WPS and drawing
Check the validity of welders and their identification that qualified for each WPS and drawing
Check that welding consumable to be stored and controlled as specified by the QC procedures
The Person:
Applicants must be a degree holder in Mechanical Engineering or other related discipline with at least five (5) years experience in the Oil and gas sector

JOB DESCRIPTION:- RETAIL BRANCH MANAGER
The Retail Branch Manager is responsible for developing and executing plans to meet the set targets in volume and margin for marketing Oando’s business for the branch:
- Effectively manage retail outlet dealers to achieve the set objectives for stations in the brancho -Ensure that the assets of the Company in the retail outlets are optimally utilized to guarantee maximum and faster returns on investment.
-The Branch Manager also serves as the liaison officer of the Company in his/her location in terms of relationship management of government agencies; regulatory bodies and other stakeholders.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
-Effectively plan and allocates targets to all the stations.
- Ensures that stations orders are followed up with CCU to avoid stock out
- Effectively manage each customer account to ensure the sales targets are fully achieved
- Offer efficient and effective supervision including guidance to dealers while initiating Business plan / move to achieve individual outlets set targets
- Actively seek to develop new retail channel business off the forecourt
- Maintain updated / comprehensive data on each dealer and conducts regular appraisals on dealers.
- To monitor competitors’ activities and provide useful information including statistics that will promote company activities
- Ensure that company policies are strictly adhered to in the running of retail outlets as detailed out in the Retail management procedures.
- To prepare and timely submit monthly sales report and others as may be required from time to time
- Acquire new retail outlets based on the pre-determined criteria & strategy.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- % increase in Sales Volume, Margin &Turnover of stations.
- Achievement of volume, revenue cost and margin target.
-% decrease / elimination of TAR in stations.
- No of new retail outlets acquired / affiliated and developed
- Quality, Timeliness and accuracy of sales & situation reports and proposal articulation.
- Achievement of EHSQ targets set for the retail outlets
- % Profit generated from new products / services / channels in a given time period
- Quality of service rendered to customers and stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- A good University degree
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
-Analytically-minded.- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- General Business Knowledge- Highly mobile and strong driving proficiency.
