MINNING SURVEYORS,GREDGE MASTER TRAINEES,GREDGING SUPERINTENDENT/ENGINEER VACANCIES AT JAPAUL OIL & MARITIME SERVICES PLC

Japaul Oil & Maritime Services Plc is a reputable and growing indigenous company, ISO Certified, rendering integrated support services in the Maritime and Upstream business: and Oil & Gas operations, specializing in Offshore Vessel chartering, Pipe line/Flow line Construction and repairs, Dredging & Reclamation works, Marine Logistics and Equipment Fabrication in Nigeria and West Africa.
We have excellent opportunity for Mining Surveyors, Dredging Superintendent/Engineer to work in any of our locations in Nigeria and Dredge Master Trainers.
(1)Position:Mining Surveyors
The right candidate must be knowledgeable and vast in Surface Mining, Grainte Quarry and Sand Mining.
Work Experience
The candidate who must have worked as a Mining surveyor in the varied areas of our operations must have experience in conventional surveyor equipments
Experienced in Estimation of Volume excavated Materials, Stock Piling Volume calculation, Blasting Quarry Operations, and Planning of Dredging Project
Not below 10 years field experience.
Core Skills
Excellence in communication: written, spoken and interpersonal
Excellence in project Management, scope, cost control, and Pre & Post Survey Management.
Ability to handle multiple jobs/projects and good team Player
Must be a self Starter, motivated and willing to be mentored
Must be proficient in Organizational skills: Computer literate: Time Management Project Planning and Delivery.
Should be willing to travel from time, and invest additional time on occasions as project/ possess safety training certification and ready to deliver quality service.
Qualification:
Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering (Upper Division) or HND (Upper Credit)
At Master Degree and Professional Qualification will be added advantage
Knowledgeable of applicable Survey codes and Standards.
Age: 30-45 years
Working Conditions
Not only office base, but will have field trips from time to time
(2)Position: Dredge Master Trainees:
The right candidates must be graduates with the following
Must be prepared to work on degree (Upper Division) or HND (Upper Credit) in any of these areas: Geology, Mining Engineering, Geo information & Survey or Mechanical Engineering.
Must not be above 30 years and ability to swim will be added advantage
Excellence in communication: written, spoken and interpersonal
Must have good understanding of Engineering Principles
Must be Growth Orientated (Both personal and company)
Willing to be mentored in Dredge Master Operations.
Willing to work as part of a Team
Willing and available for full time work either in the office or client office
Should possess safety training certification and ready to deliver quality service
(3)Position:Dredging Superintendent/Engineer
Work Experience
The candidate who must have worked as a Dredging Superintendent/Engineer in the varied areas of our operations must have experience in conventional dredging operations.
Minimum of 5-10 years field experience
Core Skills
Should be able to understand and interpret surveys reports without supervision
Should be able to use mining/dredging software
Should be able to position dredger at dredging locations for dredging operation
Should be able to organize and manage sand dump, construct bond-walls, and manage dredging sites.
Should be able to manage the dredging crew and all dredging machinery accessories
Should be able to manage more than one dredging site simultaneously
Must be proficient in organizational skills: Computer literate: Time Management: Project Planning and Delivery.
Should be willing to travel from time to time, and invest additional time on occasions as project/work load dictates.
Should possess safety training certification and ready to deliver quality service.
Qualification:
Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering Field with (Upper Division) or HND (Upper Credit)
Professional Qualification will be added advantage
Age: 30-45 years
Working Conditions
Not only office base, but will have field trips from time to time
